Who we are

My love for animals started at a young age. As a little girl, I dreamed of becoming a veterinarian—until my first dog was in an accident. Watching her suffer made me realize I wasn’t cut out for the heartbreaking side of veterinary work. I have immense respect for those who dedicate their lives to caring for our beloved pets, and from the bottom of my heart, I thank every veterinarian who takes on the good, the bad, and everything in between. So, how did I end up here? It all started with two incredible Standard Poodles—Dutchess and Royalty. Through my photography business, I was contacted by a breeder in the PNW who needed puppy photos and offered one in exchange. At the time, I wasn’t looking for a puppy, let alone a Poodle. Like many people, I assumed Poodles were high-maintenance, snobby dogs that lived in penthouses and had professional dog walkers. But after doing some research, I quickly realized they were so much more. Once Dutchess and Royalty entered my life, I couldn’t imagine ever being without a Standard Poodle. They are loving, social, and incredibly intelligent—not at all the stereotype I once believed. As I learned to groom, train, and truly understand them, the idea of breeding these amazing dogs started to take shape. I didn’t take the decision lightly—I researched extensively and was fortunate to have an incredible mentor who guided me from the ground up. She taught me the importance of health and genetic testing and inspired me to become the ethical breeder I am today. My philosophy is simple: If you’re not going to do it right, why do it at all? I live by this motto, and I believe it shows in our puppies. Every litter is raised with the utmost care, starting with comprehensive health testing for our parent dogs to ensure we are producing the healthiest puppies possible. Our puppies are raised in our home, where they are exposed to daily life, sounds, children, and other animals to build confidence and social skills. Early neurological stimulation (ENS), early scent introduction (ESI), and enrichment activities are a standard part of our program to help set them up for success in their new homes. Our puppies are part of our family while they are with us, and they remain family long after they leave. We cherish updates, love following their journeys, and are always here to support our puppy families. It’s not just about raising great dogs—it’s about building lasting relationships with the families who love them.

What motivates us

There’s nothing more rewarding than matching one of our precious puppies with a loving, committed family. That’s why we dedicate so much time, love, and effort to ensuring each puppy is placed in the right home. From the beginning, we were committed to doing things the right way. It all starts with temperament, health, and genetic testing—but selecting a great breeding dog goes beyond that. We carefully consider multiple factors to ensure we are producing not just beautiful dogs, but well-rounded, healthy companions. A key part of our program is raising our puppies in our home, right alongside our family. They hear us, see us, and interact daily with us and our children. From an early age, they are introduced to a variety of sights, sounds, and experiences, including loud noises, new people, and other animals in the household. These early exposures help shape confident, well-socialized puppies who transition smoothly into their new homes. We also focus on early training. Around 3-4 weeks old, our puppies begin litter box training, and as they grow, we introduce them to dog door training—all before they go home at 8 weeks. This foundation helps set them up for success with their new families. If you’d like to learn more or reserve one of our puppies, feel free to reach out—we’d love to help you find your perfect match!
